The new home of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl & Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game
This summer, the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium will open its doors. The first college football games in Atlanta’s new state-of-the-art stadium? The 2017 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games – Alabama vs. Florida State (Saturday, Sept. 2) and Georgia Tech vs. Tennessee (Monday, Sept. 4). The new stadium will also play host to the 2017 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (Monday, Jan. 1, 2018).
Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be a world-class sports and entertainment facility and home to the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United. The multi-purpose stadium will host major sports and entertainment events, including the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games, the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, the 2019 Super Bowl, and the 2020 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
From technology, food and beverage, fan comfort, merchandise and more, this will be the finest sports & entertainment facility in the world.
The new stadium will feature the largest LED video display in sports, including a 360-degree halo display and mega column LED display.
