ATLANTA (Nov. 20, 2018) – The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and the College Football Playoff (CFP) today released an official New Year’s Six logo lockup.
The New Year’s Six bowls and the CFP finalized individual lockup logos for each bowl to reinforce its connection with the College Football Playoff each year, especially during non-Semifinal years.
“This is a mark that the New Year’s Six bowls can use, in the years when they are not hosting Playoff Semifinals, to identify as one of the bowls associated with College Football Playoff,” said Bill Hancock, executive director of the College Football Playoff. “Participating in a New Year’s Six bowl game is a special experience for the coaches, student-athletes and other students, and for fans.”
Earlier this year, the CFP announced a new contract had been signed with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, securing its inclusion in the College Football Playoff through the 2025-26 football season. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl is set to host Playoff Semifinals in 2019, 2022 and 2025.
“We’re honored to be part of such an elite group of bowl organizations and want to reinforce that as much as we can,” said Gary Stokan, Peach Bowl, Inc. CEO and president. “This mark will serve to validate that position going forward and will be a point of pride for our organization and the teams we host in our games.”
This year’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl is set for Dec. 29 at noon ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium and will feature top-ranked teams as determined by the CFP selection committee.
