ATLANTA (Dec. 30, 2016) – Fans heading to Atlanta for the 2016 College Football Playoff (CFP) Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl will be treated to a full slate of game day activities that kick off well before No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington take the field.
Long regarded as the official kickoff for game day, The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Parade Presented by Lions Club International spreads football festivity throughout downtown Atlanta. This free event will travel through Centennial Olympic Park and conclude at FanFest in the Georgia World Congress Center. The parade will feature floats, classic cars, cheerleaders, mascots and award-winning marching bands. The parade begins at the corner of Peachtree and Baker Streets in downtown Atlanta at 9 a.m. EST.
A four-hour game day celebration of college football, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl FanFest, presented by Tyson, serves as the ultimate pre-game family destination for every fan. Serving up food, interactive games, entertainment, official limited-merchandise, giveaways and more, FanFest is the ideal opening act before you head to the Georgia Dome for Kickoff. The event will be highlighted by a massive pep rally as both official pre-game team walks wind through FanFest. Fans will have the opportunity to greet their teams, joined by the bands and cheerleaders, as they arrive at the Georgia Dome at approximately 1:25 p.m. EST
FanFest presented by Tyson starts at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 2 p.m. Alabama and Washington will square off at 3 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN.
