Online poll lets fans rank the top 25 in college football each week.
ATLANTA (Sept. 15, 2015) – Ever wanted to vote in a college football Top 25 poll? Here’s your chance. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Fan Poll is back, giving fans an opportunity to be a part of our weekly voting panel.
The weekly interactive poll will run throughout the season at Chick-fil-APeachBowl.com. Participating fans will be eligible to win monthly prizes, including Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl tickets. One lucky grand prize winner will be randomly selected for College Football Playoff National Championship tickets at the end of the season.
What’s more – this year’s Fan Poll will include celebrity voters. Each week, different celebrities will submit a Fan Poll and reveal their top-10 on Atlanta’s own sports station, 680 The Fan. Scheduled voters include: Chicago Bears all-time leader scorer Kevin Butler, ‘Mr. College Football’ Tony Barnhart, ESPN personality Holly Rowe, ESPN TV talent Dave Neal, former record-setting Georgia quarterback Eric Zeier, former Georgia Tech and Alabama Head Football Coach Bill Curry, Sirius XM Radio Host Rachel Baribeau, College Football Hall of Fame honoree Joe Hamilton, 1996 Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel, eight-time NFL Pro Bowler Zach Thomas and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
“Fans are the lifeblood of college football and we want to make sure we give them a way to voice their opinions with our new Fan Poll,” said Gary Stokan, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl President and CEO.
Fans are encouraged to use their own criteria in evaluating the nation’s top teams while filling out their individual Top-25 polls each week. This is meant purely as a fun and engaging way to let the fans voice be heard in social media and will have no impact on the College Football Playoff weekly rankings.
How it works:
- 1. Each Monday, fans can visit Chick-fil-APeachBowl.com/fanpoll to fill out a Top 25 poll using an easy drag-and-drop interface. Voting will close every Thursday at 12 p.m. EST.
- 2. Individual fan polls will be collected and tabulated by the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
- 3. On Thursday, the results of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Fan Poll will be announced at Chick-fil-APeachBowl.com and via the Bowl’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
